Today I drove a car on the left side of the road, albeit for about two blocks. At Island Thrift, the car is a piece of junk - it is lovingly referred to as the Deathtrap. It has no mirror on the driver side, the back window is tinted so you can't see out of it, you have to roll down the window, reach out and pull the handle to let yourself out, and one of the backdoors doesn't even open. The latest problem is that the front tire is almost flat, so I had to drive it to a shop nearby, where they apparently don't have the parts to fix it (this is supposedly island code for "too lazy"). It's a fine car.
It's weird driving on the other side. I had to keep reminding myself to stay to the left, stay to the left. Parking was a bitch; I nearly hit another car because I forgot that there was an entire half of my car to the left that I had to worry about. Below is obviously not the car, but pictures equal good.
And I wanted to give a shout out to our second follower. You are similarly awesome, Sara Jackson, in a way Denise and I don't fully understand.
