Rico

In addition to the cows, we have a lot of other critters outside of our apartment.  Yesterday, we saw a lizard, maybe a foot long.  Although seeing a lizard that big in the wild is cool in and of itself, what made it EXTRA cool was that the lizard was camouflaged.


It's tail was grey, to match the pavement it was laying on, while the rest of it's body was green, to match the grass it was on.

This is not the actual lizard, but it gives you an idea of how awesome these things are at camouflaging.


We have named the lizard Rico.
